Silent Zone is an area for individual study only. Silence must be maintained at all times and strictly no conversations are permitted. All mobile devices and laptop computers should be silenced and used with headphones. Silent Zones are available on both the Basement and Mezzanine levels of the Library.

On Basement level, users are allowed to have drinks from vending machines provided.

Please note that:

1. Eating is not allowed in the area

2. Drinks from vending machines can only be consumed within the area, and cannot be carried outside the area.

What is my User ID and PIN

Students – User ID is student ID and PIN by default is 1234
Staff – User ID is the Serial Number at the back of the staff card and PIN by default is 1234

How do I become a member of the Sunway Library

All students are automatically registered as Library members. Staff and Other categories have to fill in this form: https://library.sunway.edu.my/membership9

How do I enter the Library using Facial Recognition?

All registered members can enter the Library using Facial Recognition. If you have difficulty scanning your face, please get assistance from the Service Counter Staff.
