AV Collection

This collection comprises about 8,000 items, mostly in DVD format. The Library has a good collection of films which can now be borrowed for viewing outside the Library. In compliance with the Film Censorship Act 2002, only films with Certificates A and B issued by the Censor Board can be circulated outside the Library. All other films without certificates have been approved by the Censor Board for viewing within the Library only. Films required for courses or deemed too valuable will be restricted for in-house use. AV Collection is currently located inside the Viewing Zone for easy access by users. Users are required to borrowed from the self-checkout machine at Viewing Zone and must be returned at the Service Counter or Library Returns (outside the Library) after each use. |

Home loans are made under the following regulations:
- Users will be held responsible for items that are damaged or lost while on loan to them.
- Users cannot make copies of the films. Any unauthorized copying, hiring, lending or public performance of the films is prohibited by law.
- Users have to pay fines for overdue items, where applicable.
- Users may renew items before the due date with the exception of items reserved by other users.

Viewing Facilities
There are 8 individual viewing stations in the Viewing Zone, two Training Rooms, 11 Group Project Pods and 18 PCs on Level UG that can be used for viewing purposes.
