Why is citing important?

Most importantly, you can avoid plagiarism by proper acknowledgement and citations to sources used in your academic paper and assignments. It reflects that you have acted in an ethical and honest manner when borrowing ideas and facts from other researchers.

Citing Malaysian Personal Names

National Library of Malaya has established a standard entry for the various ethnicity personal names in Malaysia, such as Malays, Chinese, India, Kadazandusun (Sabah), and Iban (Sarawak). The manual provides guidance on how to cite Malaysian personal names.
